Minorities in Video Games

The under-representation of female, POC, and LGBTQ+ persons in video games.

A study done by the Pew Internet Project found that almost all U.S. kids and teens play video games, along with a majority of young adults and half of all adults.  Why is it that the people portrayed in these games that so many people play frequently and are passionate about mainly white, heterosexual, cisgendered men? This website aims to explore this topic through statistical research, and provide resources to those who are interested in learning more about the representation of minority groups in video games.
